Design Changes
Text needs to be minimal. More use of photos, infographics and other visual elements.
Website has basic interface, does not stand out from competitors.
Negative space needs to be implemented.
New Design
I focused on using frosted frames, bold typography and gradients as these elements are on trend right now, making the interface stand out from its competitors.
Future Improvements
As my first UI design assignment, I recognize numerous areas for enhancement, particularly now that I am doing my masters. To bolster the accessibility of the new design, I plan to heighten the contrast of certain elements for improved visibility. Additionally, I aim to refine the appearance of clickable items, ensuring they distinctly resemble buttons to afford a clearer call to action. Simplifying the background in specific sections is also a consideration to enhance readability and create a more user-friendly interface.
